Bespoke shelving works best when it feels part of the architecture rather than an addition to it. This project focuses on proportion, useful storage and display space, with the composition tailored to its setting.
Made to fit
The arrangement is considered as a whole: the available wall area, the objects it needs to hold and the visual balance of open and closed space. The result is furniture made specifically for the room rather than adapted from a standard size.
Craft and finish
Accurate setting-out, clean junctions and careful finishing are central to the work. Each detail is resolved to give the shelving a composed, built-in character.
